If you are interested in combating injustice, exploring the world, and learning about topics such as photography, media and the Bible… the PhotogenX Around the World Track is for you!
Through this course you will learn photography and have opportunities to shoot around the world in the Americas, Africa, Europe and Asia.  You will study world cultures not only in books, but in the nations themselves. You’ll have the opportunity to put hands and feet to the dreams you have of outreach and ministry. And you will learn to use your cameras as a powerful, relational tool to open doors and minister to the oppressed.
The PhotogenX track is a series of four six-week seminars, each coupled with 4-6 weeks of outreach to practically implement what you’ve learned in the classroom. The seminars include the School of Photographic Communication I and II, the Biblical Core Course, and the Leadership / Personal Stewardship Core Course.
We are from this 501(c)(3) non-profit and from this Youth With a Mission Base.

THE VISION.

So this guy comes up to me and says “what’s the vision? What’s the big idea?” I open my mouth and words come out like this… The vision?

The vision is JESUS – obsessively, dangerously, undeniably Jesus.

The vision is an army of young people.

You see bones? I see an army. And they are FREE from materialism….

(From 24-7 Prayer)

The vision of photogenX international:

The vision of photogenX is to use creative media as a tool for cultural transformation so that issues such as gender based injustice will be issues of history instead of the future.

photogenX advocates for those who cannot speak for themselves (a voice for the voiceless) and challenges the current global status quo.

In addition photogenX seeks to capture the people and places of every nation in the world showing off their beauty but not masking their pain.

The purpose of this track is to

Know God and Know ourselves,

see the face of God in the faces of the world,

explore cultures and communities,

connect with ministries around the globe,

be intentionally discipled,

grow in our strengths and thrive as equipped leaders,

use media to expose injustice and empower lives,

study the Bible in-depth,

and experience current events in faraway places.
