Meet the 2014-2015 Track!
My name is Eric Samuels. I am 25 years old and from Concord, Massachusetts in the U.S. God has called me to be a big voice in his media movement. I have always enjoyed learning about photography and film-making and love to travel, see new things and meet new people. I decided to do the PhotogenX Around the World Track with a group of friends from around the world and I’m excited for what God has for me and my friends as we travel the world, meeting all kinds of His people.
Bethan Uitterdijk My name is Bethan. I’m 24 and I am from England. I’ve always been artsy and drawn like a magnet to all things creative. As well as this, I’m built with an accumulating desire to see justice fought for and strived for. I assumed that someday I’d have to choose one of these loves to focus on, sacrificing the other. The Track was such an appeal to me because it proposes that both passions can be used together; that creativity can be used powerfully and intentionally as a tool against the world’s giants of injustice. It’s a lesson I’m eager to learn!
I’m Catherine, 23 years old and from Melbourne, Australia. God has given me a huge heart for injustice and bringing awareness to those injustices through media. I am so excited to be learning photography alongside and from people who have a heart for similar things! PhotogenX captured my attention because it’s a mix of so many of my passions and joys in life – travel, biblical studies, photography, experiencing new cultures and just loving on God’s people. I can’t wait to see what God is going to do through and in our team!
I’m Idun Skåre. I am 22 years old and from Norway. I have a heart for the people around me and I’m passionate about showing them their worth. Seeing people grow into the person they were created to be is exciting for me. I never get tired of exploring the world, meeting new people, being creative and learning about different cultures. I chose to do this school because it gives me the opportunity to use my interests and talents for something bigger than myself. I’m excited to see what the next years will bring.
